Common questions
My lists are not appearing on my other device
Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on, and Household Radar needs to be enabled for iCloud in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Syncing is handled by iCloud in the background, so it is not instant — give it a minute with the app open and the device on a network.
How do I share a list with someone?
Open the list, tap the share control, and invite the other person. They need an Apple Account and the app installed. Sharing is per list: only the list you share is visible to them, and the lists you do not share stay private.
They tapped the invitation and nothing happened
The app has to be installed on the recipient's device before the link will open in it. If they installed the app after receiving the invitation, ask them to tap the link again.
How do I stop sharing?
Open the shared list, open the share control, and either remove the participant or stop sharing altogether. A participant can also remove themselves. Once sharing stops, the list stays with its owner.
The widget is out of date, or its list picker is empty
Open the app once — it publishes what the widget shows. If the picker has no lists in it, create a list in the app first, then edit the widget and choose it. iOS also decides how often widgets refresh, so the widget can lag behind the app by a few minutes.
Can I use it without iCloud?
Yes. Everything works on a single device with iCloud off. You then get no syncing and no sharing, and the lists live only on that device — so they are only in your own backups.
How do I delete my data?
Delete lists and items in the app, and delete the app to remove its on-device data. Anything already synced is in your own iCloud account and can be removed in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. The developer holds no copy — see the privacy policy.
